You’re invited to participate in Stone Soup Week | March 17-23, 2025

The Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba will be hosting our 13th Annual Stone Soup fundraising event in March 2025 in support of Manitoba school meal and snack programs. 

What are we asking of you?

  • Create a signature soup to be sold on the week of March 17-23rd in support of Manitoba school meal and snack programs.

  • Restaurants will be asked to donate $1 from the sale of every bowl of soup to the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba for that week. 

  • We encourage you to engage with your fellow competitors through social media to increase public awareness and make the competition more fun!

What do you get?

  • Promotion

    • Logo or name on our website. 

    • Promotion through social media. 

    • Name of your restaurant shared through the promotion of the event and in the media.

  • Competition

    • The opportunity to showcase your skills and compete with other chefs. 

    • The public will be invited to discover all of the participating restaurants’ delicious soups and vote for their favourite soup on our website.

  • An Opportunity to Support your Community

    • If you prefer, funds donated to the Council can go directly to a breakfast, snack or lunch program at a school in your neighbourhood. To see a list of schools in your area, click here.
