Stone Soup 2022

The Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba was happy to host our 10th Annual Stone Soup fundraiser in support of school meal and snack programs in our province.

CNCM Board and staff would like to thank everyone that participated in our event! A special thank you to all the people that purchased soup, restaurants that jumped on board to create such delicious tasting soups and everyone that reached out to make a donation or purchase a raffle ticket. As always, a huge thank you to all of our wonderful event sponsors!

With all of Manitoba coming together to support this event, over $29,000 was raised. That is enough to provide a breakfast to 14,500 students!

Stone Soup Week

This year we had to once again adapt our event and we planned our first ever Stone Soup Week! This event brought together restaurants from all across Manitoba to create a signature soup to sell the week of March 14-20th, with $1 from every bowl of soup being donated to the Council. The public were given the opportunity to try soups in their local restaurants and vote on their favourite.

Stone Soup 2022 Raffle

The Council ran our second annual 60/40 raffle as part of our Stone Soup event this year. In total over 3,200 raffle tickets were sold, for a total raffle pot of $4,275.00! A lucky Manitoba resident went home with 40% of the ticket sales and 60% of the sales went to the Council to support meal and snack programs for students all across the province.
