Stone Soup 2021

Although the annual fundraiser looked quite different this year, our online fundraising and awareness campaign was a great success. With the help of the community and Council supporters, $24,026 was raised!

Stone Soup 2021 Raffle:

The Council ran a 60/40 raffle from February 12th-March 26th. In total over 5,800 raffle tickets were sold, for a total raffle pot of $7,710! A lucky Manitoba resident went home with 40% of the ticket sales and 60% of the sales went to the Council to support meal and snack programs for students all across the province.

Community Support:

Throughout the Stone Soup 2021 campaign we received a tremendous amount of support from individual and corporate donors! Each and every donation received has a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of Manitoba students.

We were also excited to launch our newly developed Ways to Give donation page, which includes the Program Support Shop! This online donation store helps shed light on the importance of school meal and snack programs by highlighting the essential ingredients that are required to make these programs a success.

From February 12th-March 26th the Council engaged with our followers on social media to help raise awareness regarding the high need for regular nourishment in Manitoba schools to support student learning. Thank you to everyone who liked and shared our content!
