During this year’s Stone Soup we were able to meet our fundraising goal, raising nearly $30,000. Thank you, thank you, thank you to our volunteers, supporters and the hundreds of Winnipeggers who came down to MB Hydro Place to make a donation and try some great soups.

A big congratulations is also owed to our two Silver Ladle soup award winners:Colourful Soup

  • Fern Kirouac, chef at Inferno’s Bistro, winner of the People’s Choice Silver Ladle for his delightful Chicken Ragu with Cashew Kale Chips.
  • Jess Young, chef at Buffalo Stone Café, winner of the Judges’ Choice Silver Ladle for her satisfying Solyanka Hearty with Smoked Meat.
