Here are two comments from our workshop in Winnipeg, held in November 2016:

~I was very impressed with the presenters and the administration of the workshop. The sessions were informative and not too long. Also, the facility was great.

~Great networking opportunity, sharing recipes, challenges and possible solutions.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, chefs, celebrity judges, sponsors, and especially the patrons for attending our annual fundraiser to support child nutrition programs in Manitoba. Congratulations to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s chef Wayne Aastrom for winning the “People’s Choice” soup ladle!

This year we had some excitement as the judges had a tie and chose the following TWO chefs to receive the “Judge’s Choice” soup ladle:

Frenchway Cafe’s chef Clint Riguidel for his soup: Thai coconut curry w/ maple leaf crostini & optional shrimp

Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s chef Wayne Aastrom for his soup: Old cheddar and potato chowder with candied bacon
