Fifth annual Stone Soup fundraiser

It’s only a day away! Stone Soup is our biggest and most exciting fundraiser each year. This year it is happening on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Manitoba Hydro Place in downtown Winnipeg. Did you know that CBC Radio Noon will be broadcasting live from our event from 12noon to 1pm? Please join us for a delicious lunch in support of school food programs in Manitoba.

Save the date: Brandon workshop

We are planning a workshop in Brandon on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 1pm to 4pm. This workshop is free for school staff who support our funded nutrition programs. We will post more information as it becomes available.

Check out some of the pictures from our November 2016 workshop:

We loved all the great ways our program coordinators came up with to serve yogurt parfaits, like mixing plain and flavoured yogurt to keep the sugar down, making a topper with seeds, oats and wow butter as a binder, and adding a variety of frozen, canned, and fresh fruit!
